Over R100 million new contracts build momentum for 2011

B&W Instrumentation and Electrical Limited ("B&W") has kicked off 2011 by further entrenching its foothold in Africa. The group has secured one new coal mine infrastructure project worth R35 million in Mozambique, reflecting B&W's strategy to target Africa and its diversification into growth mining markets to off-set volatility in other mining sectors.

The contract is for an Electrical & Instrumentation ("E&I") installation in Northern Mozambique. The project will commence in April 2011 and is due for completion in August 2011.

The R53 million contract for the E&I installation at a Sugar Mill in Swaziland is already underway and is due to conclude in March / April 2011.

Further smaller projects have been secured in the Oil & Gas sector in South Africa.
